The night before the Eid is called the
"Chand Raat" on this night ,muslims gather on the roofs of their houses.They want to see the new moon called "Crescent".They wait for its appearance keenly.When new moon appears in sky, muslims shout with joy & congratulate one another.
They buy new shoes,dresses & bhanglies.There is a great excitement everywhere on this night.Girls buy bangles & mehndi in that night.
